My driver is old, it doesnt have a hdmi port, its has a 15 pin male vga, a long female vga, etc.
What brand should i buy?
Is it a waste of money od should i connect it with a bunch of wires.
A pc-to-tv wireless would work, as long as you get a device that lists XP as being compatible with it. Look for the Minimum System Requirements, usually on the back of the package, or in the list of specs, if you’re buying online.
I’m not sure what you’re saying about your setup. If your TV does have a HDMI port, but your computer doesn’t, you can buy a new video card for cheap that will supply the HDMI port for you. That is, unless you are talking about a laptop. Some laptops have replaceable video cards, but I don’t know any laptop that can have an HDMI port added to it, even if the card supports it.
If you are able to upgrade to HDMI, it will be better than wireless. But, the VGA will probably be just as good, if not slightly better than the wireless, too.

http://brent7549.gettvonurpc.com/members Parts used: http://jasonrj.net/blog/how-connect-hdtv-computerI explain the best way to connect your desktop or laptop computer to your HDTV. This will not work with a standard definition TV. I choose the HDMI cable method because it is the absolute best way to do this when concerned with picture quality. I use a DVI to HDMI converter but a video card with a built in HDMI port is even better. Please note that just about any computer is capable of doing this but if the video card is not powerful enough you may see choppy video on the TV as a result.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON EXPENSIVE HDMI CABLES!!!!The cheap cables are EXACTLY as good as the ridiculously expensive ones. This is a proven fact that I find hilarious people try to argue:http://www.mint.com/blog/trends/the-rip1/http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/03/audiophiles-cant-tell-the-difference-betwe…http://gizmodo.com/268788/the-truth-about-monster-cable-part-2-verdict-cheap-…
